September 2008 - When Bollywood star Salman Khan decides to become married, a lavish golden palki or palanquin, decorated with red Swarovski crystals is waiting for his bride. His friend and jewelry designer, Punita Trrikha, has prepared the unique bridal transport and wants to preserve it for Salman.
“Salman bhai is like a brother to me. I have designed jewellery for most of his films and this palki that I have made is also for him. I want that whenever he gets married, his bride should sit in it. This will be my gift to him,” Trrikha explained to an Indian News Service recently. |

September 2008 - A Japanese designer joined four other artists in decorating children's tricycles with crystals for charity. The Japanese designer decorated a tricycle for charity using Swarovski crystals. It was auctioned off on ebay earlier this month.
