October 2008 - Olympus teams up with Swarovski to dress up its camera. Olympus’s limited edition Stylus 1040 Crystal digicam to features a diagonal
stripe of 98 Swarovski crystals on the sliding lens barrier. The jeweled camera features face-detection autofocus and autoexposure to provide Intelligent Auto mode detecting the five most commonly used scenes and adjusts settings, which is really handy because fashionistas don't generally have time to focus on such details when taking pictures at a party for their myspace page! October 2008 - The German manufacturer, Sonoro offers a Swarovski encrusted radio, bedazzling the radio to simple American folk, for USD $2,500. The normal sleek black radio costs $250,
but but the addition of a gorgeous black and diamond crystal floral designs brings the price up just a bit. It's called the Sonoro Cubo Stardust.

July 2010 -- Toronto, Canada -- Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth (she is the Queen of England, ya know) attend a special film presentation at Pinewood Studios in Toronto. The film was a 3D film directed by Deepa Mehta set during the early 19th. It consisted of a group of dancers in period costume gyrating to loud Asian Bhangra music for a few minutes. Of course the 3D glasses worn by the British Royals -- you don't get to see either of them wearing glasses of any kind very often -- we've never seen a picture of them wearing glasses at all! But don't worry about the Queen, her Royal Highness wore a pair that was embellished with the letter Q in clear diamond Swarovski crystals.
