Swarovski design on Disney mplayer October 2008 - iRiver Mplayer announces a fifth edition of their Disney Mickey Swarovski mplayer. The latest edition of the limited edition crystal covered mplayer even
has names! They are Crystal, White Rainbow, Lame Crystal Violet, Midori (Green) Crystal Lame and Vanilla Lucha Libre. The price is a cool $160. The mplayers have 1GB storage capacity with the ability to play mp3, WMA and ASF. It's Mickey's ears that feature the Swarovski crystal. They are also the volume and playback control.

October 2008 - A one of a kind Swarovski-encrusted Scrabble game board and tiles appeared in October 2008 on ebay as part of a worldwide auction for charity.

The crystal-covered Scrabble board was commissioned to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary (60th Anniversary) of the Hasbro board game. Earlier in the month celebrities such as Jimmy Kimmel played a game of Scrabble on the board, which features 30,000 Swarovski crystals.

The company is based in Asia and is rolling out its business throughout Asia, the United Arab Emerites, South America and North America. The company claims the thin films will last up to 5 years and removes easily without damage to the device. September 2010 -- How far would you go? An auto accessory manufacturer in Japan, the DAD company, smothered a pair of Mercedes SL600 sports car in 300,000 Swarovski crystals! In the foreground is the champagne color car and in the background is the silver or 'diamond' crystal car.
