Washington, DC - American music star Aretha Franklin was one of the professional singers chosen to perform at the Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America.
She wore a classic grey wool coat and matching grey wool hat. The hat create an immediate buzz worldwide. It featured an oversized bow set off at a tilt to one side. The bow was trimmed in Swarovski crystals. |
| The hat was designed by Mr Luke Song, a young hat designer from Detroit Michigan. Ms Franklin is from and currently makes her home in the Detroit area. Mr Song became an instant celebrity in the world of fashion and pop culture. His small studio is located in the city of Detroit in an area that is considered an up and coming neighborhood that supports fashion designers. Go Aretha! |
